Pylon Racing I have recently begun pylon racing in the AMA 424 class. I fly a Lanier Predator with a stock Thunder Tiger .40 engine. These planes reach speeds of 110 MPH and fly a 2.5 mile course. At my first Event, Tangerine 2005, I place 1st narrowly edging out Tony M. and Charlie Klein. (See the photos for the rest of the story) |
