Thailand Trip 1

Up

On Feb. 4th I went on the trip of a lifetime...

Map of Thailand

For just over 3 weeks I had the opportunity to stay in beautiful Thailand, for what a few call a "Work-ation".  Here are some of the pictures I took during my stay.  I will add some descriptions in a few more days, but I am sure you can figure them out.

The hotel I stayed at in Lop Buri. (UAV testing.)

Monkeys were everywhere in Lop Buri...

Here is Pex making sure my luggage was safe getting to the airfield, or was he protecting Aun's plane??

Here is the UAV that I saw. They were doing some tests using the Eagle Tree system, the same system we use and sell at BVM.

The first model field I had seen in thousands of miles....

My first Thai beer, this is Singha, brewed in Bangkok

Some new friends I would get to know quite well for 3 weeks!

These next few are the view from my room in Prachin Buri, that is a lake with a bridge.

Here Aun, Pop, and myself hit some balls after a long day of Bandit ARF work.

....Then to the Japaneese Bar-B-Q.

...Here Pop is cooking some steak and chicken with soup and vegetables.

Ahhhh Burger King in Bangkok. Not as greasy in Thailand.....

My first time at the local flying field near our factory....what did we have to deal with?????

Cows!!!

Pex carrying the Astral xx to the one lane road for take off.

Accross the lake was a Temple.

Me hovering the Edge 540, my first time....

Pex and I discussing who will have to fuel the bird next......

I lost.....

The cows cooling off for a bit....

Crossing the mountains to go to the flying field in Korat.

Aun's baby girl.

A sabre jet???

Pex getting the edge ready for me to fly.

Aun's Astral xx.

The club house, everyone brought food to share, this was great group of people! I had alot of fun here and at dinner.

The restaruant on the lake where they deliver your food my boat, you never actually leave your hut.

Here is the funny man himself, Golf, he owned the restaraunt and is a modeler.

Back at the Factory Pub.

I don't know what this was, but they tasted like eggs....

The musicians at the hotel.

Factory Pub again....

1 of about 25 puppies at Aun's factory.

Oh yeah this is what I really did when I was in Thailand. BVM's newest offering, the Bandit ARF.
